Mr. Maltby
Thanks for your help.I was just able to purchase a set of used x22's for a great price.I hit them at the range and anything near a good swing produced an extremely straight shot. Not only straight but close together. They have good feel but still let you know when struck poorly.Considerably different than the Adams Idea as you said they would be.
Thanks again for a site that provides objective analysis rather than the subjective reviews that exist elsewhere.

nbhs1, the original Adams Idea that you are referring to has a very high vertical center of gravity and is not a very good iron at all. The Adams Idea A1 Pro Hybrid and the Adams A1 Hybrid are both much better iron designs and have higher playability. I would however agree with your thinking and going over to a Callaway model with high playability. You will definitely play better by getting rid of your current irons.

Mr. Maltby I currently play Adams Idea 2003 or 4.I was surprised to see their low playability rating and placement in the classic category.Do you believe the newer Callaway clubs such as Diablo or older offerings such as x20's would help my struggles.
Thanks for the guidance.

bero25, sorry, I never measured this iron. I am constantly getting new heads all the time and I will post updates to the MPF when they are measured.
