Can you give me the measurement from the butt end to the first step and how much the shaft weighs? Nothing in our data base is showing that exact pattern, but there are a few that had the 12″ to first step from the tip. Jim, our resident expert on all things related to old steel shafts, has looked through all the records we have with TT shaft drawings and says he has nothing that matches. It could be a proprietary pattern that True Temper did for some OEM and was never sold aftermarket. In that case, we wouldn’t have any information on it. If you can get us the weight and butt to first step distance maybe it will help, but not too confident we can identify after looking through our data base.

Thanks for the additional information. Unfortunately, Jim and I are not able to identify that shaft with the pattern you gave. Like I said, it could have been a non-commercial product or proprietary product. Not often do we get a question about a shaft we can’t answer, but this is one we can’t identify.

The butt to first step is 7″
The shaft weighs 129-130 Grams
