I am a high handicapper playing for about a year and a half. I really think I am suited to play the STi irons but the gapping between irons might be too much. I like to play the 4 degree gap that the TE forged have but I don’t know if my skills are at that level yet. Any advice will be appreciated.
I think the STi Irons would be an excellent choice. The feedback we have received has been very positive. I don’t think the 5 degree gap in the short irons is something I would worry about. An alternative would be the KE4 S, which is the current generation of our best selling Ultra Game Improvement Iron ever. The gapping is is 3 degrees on the 4 to 6 and 4 degrees on the 6 thru Gap. The TE Forged is an option and even though it is a more traditional looking blade profile. Still, it is a Super Game Improvement club based on its mass and dimensional characteristics. I would probably lean towards the STi or the KE4 S as a recommendation.
