Britt, how do you compare these two drivers in terms of performance characteristics of each, such as launch angle, off center strikes, ball speed, etc., and which one do you recommend for different fitting situations? Thank you! Michael
Hi Michael. Happy New Year.
In comparing same / same, meaning similar lofts with everything else being equal, the numbers should be similar. Both are designed to provide ball speeds that approach the limit allowable, but are conforming (TC has not been officially OK’d by the USGA, but it will be). The obvious difference, besides the cosmetics, is the adjustability of the TC. More options and easily adjusted to fine tune the fit. Still, the ISO-T is a fabulous driver, in my opinion. The unique manufacturing process does yield high performance and the 3 loft options does give the fitter or the player some versatility. As I have time, we will do more launch monitor testing to get a larger sampling for variations of the different settings, but the initial and development testing we did do was all very positive. There are variations in spin and launch, depending on the settings. I will provide more detail as we get more data in the coming weeks.
Thanks for your interest and support.
