Hello, I am interested in the KE4 ST-F 3 wood club pack. I would like to know what would make one choose the paderson or the kuro kage shaft. I am looking for control over distance in an X or S flex. My 150yd club is a 9 iron. I dont really have issues with trajectory but I do have issues with going left or right. If it matters my miss when left is a hook and my miss when right the flight is dead straight, just right of the target.
That two-way miss is not necessarily a shaft problem. However, I think with your club head speed you will want a shaft that is low torque for better control. Typically, a heavier shaft with low torque will also give a lower launch. Of the two shafts you cited, the Paderson Kinetixx may fill the bill a bit better.
My personal favorite that is even more tip stiff is the Grafalloy ProLite 35, available in S and X. (The newer model is the ProLaunch Red.) The stiff plays stiffer than most other stiff shafts and gives me excellent shot dispersion and control. Still the driver I use! I also have other drivers with X flex shafts, including this model, but I prefer the feel and performance of the ProLite 35 stiff.
