I love these shafts. My hands are starting to hurt a bit and would like to use these shafts more often. My problem is I have trouble loading up the business end with enough weight. I can use the 6 gram, but it’s not enough. I don’t think the tungsten 8 and 10 grams are made for the shaft and have had some trouble fitting. I could drill the Maltbys but not sure if that is really recommended. How can I get 10 grams of weight on the business end without using a ton of lead tape? Any thoughts appreciated.
I wasn’t aware the Tungsten weights would not work in that shaft. I’ll check that out. If they did that would be the way to go. The other alternative is the GW0105 lead tip weights. 10 grams is a little more than I like to put in a shaft tip, but if that’s what you need and lead tape is not an option, the GW0105 may be the option to try. There is always tungsten powder, but personally I don;t like working with the powder. Maybe a combination of some tip weight and a little lead tape. That keeps you from putting so much in the tip of shaft, but allows you to get to the head feel you need.
