What ferrule would I use for the Cleveland RTX 2.0 CB Wedge? I’ve reamed it out to .370. Would it be a collared ferrule?
same question for Ping G Hybrid – what ferrule in the event I ream it out the hosel to .370? what ferrule if I sand the tip of the shaft from .370 to .355? also in either case would I use a collared ferrule?
Also, any problem using an iron shaft in the Ping G Hybrid?
I am not sure if Cleveland used a collared ferrule on the RTX 2.0 wedges. If they did than the BB0001 collared ferrule will work. If not I would use the 61PI. You could use the 61PI either way whether or not Cleveland used a collared ferrule. Just make sure the area where the collar fits fills with epoxy during assembly.
For the Ping G Hybrid the BB0008 will work well whether you leave the shaft a .370″ parallel or sand the tip to a .355″ taper. A .355″ taper tip shaft tapers out to approximately .370″ where the shaft exits the top of the hosel so the .370″ ferrules will fit just fine.
