britt – i see both the recoil zt9 and esx 460 shafts in the golfworks catalog, but don’t see much difference in the shafts. because i don’t have access to the e/i diagrams, could you tell me how the differences in the bend profiles might effect shaft performance? do they have similar profiles in the butt sections and the tip sections? any other differences? thank you –
yes i did feel that the ZT9’s played almost a full club shorter, I really don’t consider myself versed enough to explain the reasoning as to why all I can say that for me the ZT9’s flew lower and shorter for me. Hope that helps
not Brett but I will offer a personal opinion since I have had both shafts. The ZT9 felt and played a bit firmer to me, both were F3 and I believe that the ZT9 offered slightly less feedback and a lower ball flight. This is simply my opinion after using both.
