I still hit the ball pretty well for an old/fat guy but I recently had shoulder surgery which has reduced by swing speed.  I now am on the edge between stiff and regular.  I have found that I have to “work” to hard to consistently swing stiff and regular seems to work better for my driver.  I have found that the Kuro Kage shaft fits by tempo and speed.  I have a stiff driver shaft that I would like to put in my 3 wood.  Typically I would tip trim .5″ for a 3-wood.  Was wondering if I chose not to tip trim and simply butt trimmed the shaft if it would behave more like a “regular” shaft in my 3-wood?

Any help?
