Nothing about my game is flashy so the X’s are it for me. Thanks for the reply.

boroffr, the Glider X was replaced with the next generation Glider S. The “S” was a little more flashy and a less stark version (a marketing term for less ugly) with only a very few modifications to it. I personally eventually switched from the Glider X to the Glider S last year and basically see no difference. I did stick with the exact shaft and all other specifications with the exception of the heads only. For all practical purposes both Gliders (S and X) are almost the exact same heads with a different name. However, one thing I really agreee with you on is that if a club works well for you then stick with it. This is a very personal game.

Done deal. Now, Ralph, why did you discontinue these?

I have 3-pw of Glider X heads that have hardly even been hit. They were just too upright for me so pulled shafts and have heads. Some not been hit at all. If interested in them email me to hmalone44@comcast.net Thanks, Malone

Ralph I may be alone with these thoughts, but I am wondering why you discontinued the X model. I have tried all of the newer versions but just cannot hit them as well. Also, I have tried numerous OEM irons, as well as component heads, and always come back to the Glider-X. Now I am desperately searching for another set of heads to build in graphite to go with my steel shafted irons. I realize the reason for reducing sole width, etc., but I just cannot hit anything like the X’s. FYI, I have arthritis, several elbow surgeries and I am a picker of the ball. HELP!
Geezer in love with Glider-X’s.
