Thanks, you are correct, I would not want to play with the adjustable putter, just get the head so I could make my own version of it.
I will call and see about getting the head.
Thanks dG

dieselglen, I guess I missed this question also.
I have never had anyone who wanted to play with this adjustable putter. Since it can easily be changed during play, it would most likely be illegal by USGA rules. The putter is only sold as a assembled club in our GolfWorks catalog on page 222. I am fairly certain that if you call our call center and request to buy the head only, they will most likely sell you one. If you have a problem, ask for Phil.
The shortest length on the adjustable model is just under 31”.

Ralph: I was in Golfworks recently, and tried out the maltby adjustable length fitting putter (the non belly, center shafted right/left handed blade putter with the telescoping shaft). Needless to say, this putter at it’s shortest length resulted in some terrific results for me. Not only the length, but the weight (it showed 340 g), and overall feel. I was also very accurate at all lengths.
I would love to build one for myself, but where can I get a head like this? I did not see one in the catalog. I really like the face, weight, center shaft, etc….
Another question, how much does the telescoping portion of the shaft add to the total weight and swingweight? I would want to make this putter feel as close as possible.
Also, is this a 30 inch putter when it is the shortest?
Thanks dG
