I got to hit a CT 250 Pro at Golf Galaxy the other day. It’s a very good looking, feeling, and sounding head. I thought that I might not like the ridges on the crown, but that isn’t the case. They blend in very nice and I actually like them.
For those of you that want something more “traditional” in shape, I’d call this one a moderate pear. A very good shape for the traditionalist.

marktheblake, you definitely want the CT250 Professional driver. I now have this one in my bag and it is great with a great sound. Also, I will give you Pete Calloways remarks below from the GolfWorks as he saw your post and sent this over to me.

I recommend the CT250 Pro for this customer. It has the most muted or “traditional” sound out of all our drivers.

I have a KE4 V, and it is a little loud, but I don’t mind it personally. I haven’t done any side-by-side comparisons regarding sound, so I can’t really compare it to any of the other drivers. I’ve heard of some people putting cotton balls inside driver heads to quiet them down a bit.

I am going to buy some irons this week from Golfworks, and as the shipping is about $65 I thought i should make sure the box is completely full.
Am eying off a new driver, perhaps the CT250 Pro or MOI, or the KE4/V – most likely the CT250PRO though. But what do these drivers sound like?
It all comes down to what loft i want i suppose – but my biggest fear is the sound – I really dont want to have a tin can for driver. In fact I would place sound as the most important criteria in choosing the clubhead. Played with a guy last week who had a Nike square driver, it was horrible. If it was mine I would take it back and say it was broken.
My current driver is a KZG Gemini 355cc, and it doesnt sound metallic at all, and I would love to find something that sound similar.
