drumdude96, I actually have a few Bang irons and have not measured them yet. They are about two years old, however, so they may not help you much. I do plan to get them measured and included in the new listings. Before I could answer your question, I would need to know if the center of gravity is actually located forward of the middle of the face. However, even if it was, you would still be reducing the “C” Dimension by adding weight to the hosel and thus lowering the MPF some.

Hi Ralph. Just wondering if you’ve measured the Bang Golf Center Cut forged irons for MPF rating. I was just checking them out on the Bang website, and they are quite strong lofted. That could be a very good thing for a high-ball hitter like me, as long as they were playable enough. I think it could help cut down the spin so they wouldn’t go so high. THEY say that these irons are very forgiving, but I’d like to know what you think, if you’ve measured one. As a side note, I’m in the process of selling some of my excess clubs on Ebay, so I’m getting money together to build my next complete set of clubs. I’m leaning toward the KE4 irons, but I’d still like to know about the Bangs if you’ve checked them out. If you haven’t, I’ll just have to buy one of each and compare, I guess. They do say that the CG is a bit towards the toe on the Bangs, so I could possibly make them shorter and add weight to the hosel to move the CG back to the center, couldn’t I? Just wondering. Thanks.
