Driver weight/length?

check out the Nunchuk shaft,  at 104grams it would be easy to get the specs close to that.      I have been using this shaft for about 10 years,  I did experiment with a setup about what you described...

If we set up a hybrid and iron,  with the same loft,  headweight, shaft length, and grip,    the hybrid will go further because of a hot face. But how much?    Yeah it depends on clubhead speed....

if i may add - Lets say the tour player wants to hit a fade,  as Britt said if impact is on centre it doesnt matter what the club type is,  but if its off centre,  that forgiving club would add a marginal...

Jim, (or anyone with actual facts), are more expensive shafts really made any different?

FWIW,  many years ago i picked out 3 Maltby Trouble out shafts and 3 Xcaliber shafts from golfworks. The opinion of my clubfitter was the Maltby shafts were very closely matched(flex/weight etc),  yet...

Thanks Britt - that makes sense. Personally i like the sound of that M Series Max head for a ~60 lob wedge, but the normal soles for normal wedges. cheers.

Interesting insight Britt, thanks. Have you considered that you might already have a 50 degree PW? except that you have a G on it. I know that sounds silly but hear me out. PW and GW...

Britt, for the new blades i dont suppose you could buck the trend and make the PW 50 degrees the 9 iron 45-46 and work back from there? Wishful thinking maybe, but getting annoyed at the trend resulting...
