I would like to hear some opinions with regard to the amount of epoxy used in reshafting  club shafts. I have seen tutorials and spoken with techs who say that their recommendation is to fill the hosel to the top with epoxy and then insert the shaft. Rational for this is that as the epoxy is forced up the shaft it will adhere to the inside and outside of the hosel providing more adhesion. In difference with this method, several other tutorials and techs have commented that this method forces epoxy up the shaft above the ferrule creating an unsupported shear point where the shaft is more readily snapped off.

These tutorials recommend rolling the tip of the shaft through the epoxy and insert the shaft into the hosel with a screwing motion to spread the epoxy evenly around the surfaces of the hosel and shaft.

Opinions, comments. Thanx in advance.
