I want know does this direct mass right behind the ball give a better softer feel oppose to flat back blade with no pronounced carve out, there blades are called Bridgestone Tour b X blades they said its 12 .2 mm thick they call it thick feeling and the toe and heel are shaved down to pronounce the center does this help with better feel and better cg location?
Feel is largely dependent on the mass and dimensional characteristics of the design. Without measuring the clubs you are asking about I can not tell you. Where the horizontal, vertical and rearward cg is located, along with the MOI of the design, will determine the playability and to a large degree the feel of the club. The configuration of the mass only matters as it relates to these characteristics.
