Can’t really answer since we have not seen or measured either of the models you mention. I can say that where a manufacturer claims the center mass is and where it is is not always the same. I doubt removing mass from the toe and heel are going to make the design more forgiving, but again, I would have to measure the mass and dimensional characteristics to get a full understanding of what the actual playability of the design is. I have measured the TM, Mizuno and Cobra irons you list and they are definitely “players” category designs, with no elements in the designs that would be considered forgiving elements. In looking at images of the Miura, which is in no way a precise way to analyse an iron, but based on the hosel length, the height of the mass on the back and the heel height, as one review I saw stated, it “will never be mistaken for a game-improvement club”. The same holds true of the image I have seen of the Bridgestone. Would love to get my hands on them and measure them.
