I am surprised that your preliminary numbers cam in at 613 (lower than the MPF of 660 for the XR’s from last year). I have been playing the Callaway Steelhead X-16’s with a MPF of 1037. In theory, shouldn’t I be able to hit the X-16’s better than the new XR OS irons?

Final numbers no. Preliminary number is 613 MPF points, which puts it in the Game Improvement category. Usually, the finals do not deviate much from the preliminary numbers. I thought it would be higher, but the actual vertical cg is a little high, currently sitting at .860. Still, the C-dimension was good and the rearward cg location was good, and the MOI is not bad. If the vertical cg had been better, it would have been Super Game Improvement for sure. Hopefully the final numbers will appear in the next 2 weeks.
