In the Dallas area. A trusted fitter that will put me on the scope and determine the right shaft for my old M2 driver. instead of giving me the hard sell routine. I understand how to use the Maltby charts( enough that I’m not too confident) and would prefer to purchase the shaft from Maltby, then choose the builder. I have more or less narrowed my choices but want the aid of the latest technology and experienced fitter but without the usual up sale hustle. is that clear as mud? thanks, jim

Getting a qualified club fitter to get you on a launch monitor to dial in the right shaft for your driver is the right move. We appreciate you wanting to purchase the shaft from us. Not sure what your asking, but it sounds like you need to get the fitting (probably have to pay for it), and based on the data chose the shaft and order it, and then either install yourself, find a qualified club builder, or send the driver to us and let us install the shaft for you. In the latter case you could send the driver to us with instructions to install whatever shaft you choose. The alternative is to have the fitting and simply let whoever does the fitting get the shaft and install it. I know cost is a consideration (especially at the some of the fitting places the costs can be high), but at the end of the day you want the right fit.
