there are a couple of reviews regarding the Maltby Club Length Ruler (MA1000) regarding accuracy.

Their comments are in regards to altering the lie and a change in overall club length. I’m having a hard time grasping the concept.

It seems to me if the lie was altered, for example from 62* to 63* I would see a decrease in the overall length of the club (and vice-versa). Which I think would be normal. Am I missing something obvious?

If that is the case, is the GolfMechanix Auditor Rule (GM1026) subject to the same issue?

I currently use the Exact Measure Tool (TMR) for Club Length along with a digital angle gauge with a magnetic base to indicate lie angle, with pretty good results.

Curious,
