I wanted to see if I could find out if the face of the UFW is deeper or shallower than the Ping G25 fairway woods.

I measured the actual face height to be 1.307. We published the 1.350 before we had the final product samples. .043″ is not a lot of difference. As a designer, I would say that 1.3″ is slightly shallower than our KE4 #3 wood, which is 1.345″ and is not considered a shallow depth. If I want to design something that I consider shallow, it would be 1.250″ or less. 1.350″ I would consider a basic, non-shallow face height for a #3 wood.

Not to be picky or anything, but the website shows the face height for the UFW as 1.350″. I don’t really know how that number is arrived, but just wanted to find out if the face is considered shallow like most Pings or deeper, or in-between. Thanks.
