I have a future project of reshafting a couple of Ping G Hybrids. I understand the Hybrids use a .355 shaft. I have a few questions:

Can I use a .335 shaft? If so, is there a special adapter or shim to use?

I’m considering using SHIM15, which leaves me .005 short which I could make up with shafting beads.

Or do I use a .370 shaft and sand it down a bit at the tip so it’s .355?

In both cases would I used a collared ferrule, such as a BB9047.

I final thought, is the existing .355 shaft considered a wood shaft or a iron shaft.

I would like to avoid reaming the shaft to .370 if possible.

thanks,

Randy
