Hi everyone,

First time here and first post. Thanks to everyones contributions and comments – it’s amazing what is available in this forum.

I’m attempting to reshaft some irons and was wondering what you do and what position you put the iron in to cure the epoxy?

Do you leave it upright with the shaft straight up or on some kind of angle orndoes it matter

Physically I wonder if the shaft will not be dead center in the hosel if its not in the right position. With the iron toe down and shaft up does the club tend to center itself or creep to one edge.

If the shaft properly fits the head thee should be no “lean” when curing. If the shaft is a little loose, there is Quick Center that you can use to help the shaft maintain it’s center. Always position the head down to cure. The club head can sit in the playing position on the ground, with the shaft leaning up on a workbench, counter, etc. Best to have a slot or rack that prevents the shaft from sliding off the bench or counter.
