After the shaft spine aligned and flo setup is done with it set at 12 o’clock what happens when you rotate from 8 to 12 degrees, which I’ve tried with my taylormade M3 driver. By moving from 8 to 12 degrees does that not change the spine angle and therefore the playability of my M3, should I then change my swing from in to out to a straight or out to in. Does that not also change the lie of my M3, Yeah I’m confused lol…

Project X 6 shaft…

you are supposed to install the adapter on the shaft in it’s playing position. if you change (rotate) the shaft’s position, the spine, or flo, or pured position will change on some drivers (newer Callaway does not change due to the two piece adapter they have, I believe the new KE4 TC won’t change either-not sure).
So once you know what loft, face angle, lie you need, flo the shaft, install the adapter and leave it alone. If you find later on, that you need a different loft/lie/face angle, you will need to remove the adapter and position it accordingly.

Hi Rlafoone, thanks for your input.
What’s the point of the adapter if you need to remove it if you change the loft ?
Defeats the purpose I would think, I’m confused…
