Earlier in the year I had done some head to head sim testing of two 7 irons and the average swingspeed and ball speed were identical. Given the 2°weaker TS-1 with identical shafts and length builds the final numbers had the TS-1 only 3-4 yards behind the TS-2 and the 1 showed an increase in spin as it should have. In a GolfWRX thread I’m not the only one who noticed the seemingly more efficient TS-1. Consistency of the TS-2 has been stellar and performance has been amazing so this isnt really a complaint more of an observation. Has your testing shown this as well or is it just a too small of a sample in testing. I also know VCOG can have certain effects as well. Curiosity begs the question be asked.
Thanks Britt. With simulator season here I will grab a cross section of guys and see what I find. It really has my curiosity peaked. I have been a supporter of all things Maltby for quite a long time now but this release is really special. It has a ton of interest on the forum which is always a good sign of how well it’s being recieved.
