I’ve been gaming the TS1s this year with a .355 shaft with the recommendated ferrule. Both are “universal” and I’ve reglued all of the heads twice, a couple I’ve had to do three times. The ferrules keep coming lose and riding up the shaft. This is my first experience with Universal heads. I’ve tried different epoxies, glass beads, and still can’t keep them on. I do swing hard. Is this typical? Would getting brass shims help?
I have tried about the Golfworks Tour Set and the Brampton Pro-fix long cure. Both have come loose. This is the second set I built, the first set had the FST .370 shafts and I never had one come lose. All the tips were prepped the same way so not sure what’s going on. I epoxy the ferrules too. They usually just rise up 1 mm to the edge of the collar.
Would brass shims hurt anything or is it worth a shot?
