The Tricept TU was a popular model a few years back. It was a Super Game Improvement iron with a more of a traditional blade look. Although we do not currently have a model that is similar in dimension, you might take a look at these – Maltby DBM or TE (traditional profile, forged carbon steel Super Game Improvement playability), Maltby STi (Ultra Game Improvement design with a slightly longer profile than the TU, but similar offset), KE4 – S (our flagship model that is Ultra Game Improvement. It would be a a different look than the TU, but the feel and playability is awesome. Our best seller.)
We also have the STi – H iron coming in March/April that, when compared to the TU, is similar in blade length and profile. Super Game Improvement category 6-SW designed to match up with the ST-HS hybrids (also new this spring).
As far as the shaft goes, the FST 115 could work, but would be a completely different feel from the AXE graphite shafts you have been playing. I would suggest if you are going to make such a radical change in weight and in material, you try one (in a 6 or 7 iron) before investing in the entire set.
