As I test graphite driver and fairway wood shafts on my Maltby frequency machine, I am running into a majority shafts that test out in the stiff flex category versus the regular flex. Is this fairly common? I don’t think it is my machine is off since I did a ladies set and the frequency numbers came out fine. I am almost tempted to start with and “A” flex and trim my way into a regular frequency. Is this more common than I think? What brands start closer to a true “R” flex on the frequency chart? Thanks.
