I’m having trouble deciding between the ts4 and the ts1 Im. I am a 48 year old life long golfer. Played off a 4 for many years. Currently a 6 due to a layoff because of knee issues. Currently play Mizuno jpx 900 tours. My miss is thin, credit card divot at most. Often pick it clean. Put a 5 hybrid in bag this year, Looking at 6-gap for new irons. Don’t want to have a split set, have tried in past and never liked. Looking for a small profile that could provide a bit more help when my swing is not at its best, particularly the strike low on the face.

I play TS1’s and sweep the ball as you. I love the clubs, but I’ve had them for years and just have to try the TS3’s. I’m only a 10 HCP. Can’t speak from experience on the TS4. I came from Ping Gmax’s (969 MPF) years ago. The only thing I think I lost was a few yards on bad toe misses. I hit thin too at times but other than the feel I don’t think I’m losing anything. Both are over 700 for MPF so they are plenty forgiving. I’m going to eventually go to TS3’s for the lower VCOG since I sweep. If I wasn’t hung up on the COG, I would be looking to buy TS1IM’s instead of TS3’s. The feel of the TS1 is addictive.
