As an experiment,I had an old MPF Pro Hybrid Stiff that was trimmed for a 4H that I put into a TS1-IM 5I and it’s been a fantastic combo.  So easy to hit and elevate.  The problem is it’s so easy to hit that I’m thinking of building a TS1-IM 4I and ideally would like the shaft to match in both.

I know the new MPF Hybrid is softer overall, so if I wanted something close would I go with an XS and soft step twice (i.e. only .5” for 5iron)?
