Hey I have a graphite design vf 42″ hybrid shaft I am looking to mate to a #3 Nike vapor fly pro head, shaft is .370 and iron is .355..these irons are very sought after and I would prefer not to bore it out. is shaving the tip from .370 to .355 something builders still do ? And since the shaft is 42″ long I am looking to play it as 39.5 would I just trim from the butt end?

For the record, we do not recommend sanding a .370″ parallel tip shaft to .355 to fit a tapered hosel. It is sometimes done at the factory level using a specialized grinding machine. We wouldn’t do it here at The Golfworks and would not recommend it.
Not sure how desirable the head actually is. Maybe it is, but I wasn’t aware. Had a very low playability (Classic category in our MPF data). Vertical CG was almost .900″ up the face and slightly towards the heel. Was a decent looking iron.
