What we have found in the G440 is that Ping is using a .355″ taper tip, but .370″ shafts do fit. The hosels have a larger ID at the top and a slight tapering towards the bottom and our guys tell me that .370″ shafts fit. Actually when we use a .355, we sometimes will have to use a shim. So, based on our experience, a .370″ should work, once the shaft tip is prepped.
