TS3 is an awesome iron, as is the TS4. TS1 as well. We have players say the same thing about the TS4’s that you are saying about the TS3’s. The TS3 and TS4 and the body of the original TS1 and TS1-IM are all 1025C carbon steel. That is part of why they feel so good. The other part is the result of how we focus on the mass and dimensional characteristics of the design, making sure the mass is distributed in the best possible way for the design with the cg located in the right place. The distribution of weight contributes greatly to how a club feels. That is why, even on some of our investment cast stainless models, players say they feel like a forged carbon steel head. Can’t overstate the importance of how the mass is distributed in the design.
We utilized tungsten weighting the toe of the TS3 model to help us optimize the cg location, which is part of the story as well. So, the combination of the material, the manufacturing process and the mass and dimensional characteristics all contribute to the unmatched feel of our irons. The TS3 has it’s own unique features, with the progressive cavity design being one of them, and the sole width and topline being slightly different than the TS4.
Happy to hear you like them. Play well and thanks for the feedback.
