Have been gaming a set of TS1s since 2024 and been really happy with them. Lately, I’ve been struggling a bit with the 4 and 5 iron. Was thinking about picking up the TS3s to replace them. Looks like the lofts match up well and the extra forgiveness would be helpful.

Thoughts? Would the TS3s be the best iron to replace the top end of my set? Are they that much more forgiving than the TS1s?

Would get them setup the same as my TS1s. Score LT shafts.

13-14 handicap. Play a natural fade that can quickly turn into a slice on bad days.

Good plan to use the TS3’s for the 4 and 5 iron. Even though they are both considered Super Game Improvement designs, the TS3 is much closer to the Ultra Game Improvement category than the TS1. I think you would see and feel a little more forgiveness. Personally, I have played the TS4’s since they were released and went to the TS-UI #4 to replace the TS4 #4. I have seen players use the TS-UI #3 and or #4 and the TS3 #5 with their TS4 set 6-PW, GW. Same could be done with your TS1’s. A lot of ways you can do it.

I think trying the TS3’s in the #4, and #5 is a good plan. No reason to believe they would not provide great performance.

How does the TS-UI compare to the TS3 as far as forgiveness, playability, etc.? Hadn’t even considered the TS-UI, but wouldn’t be opposed to a TS-UI and TS3 combo for my 4 and 5 iron, respectively.
