Long story short: Used to hit ball far, haven’t touched a golf course in 8 years and went out two weeks ago and now I’m back. Current clubs are mixed set MP-57/67 xstiff project x. I’m old and can’t hit these things anymore, I mean….I can, but they are too much and I 100% know I’m not getting what I could out of these clubs. I shot 92 and 86 back to back, ball striking is still there but ball flight is horrendous with driver (7.5* driver head with xx stiff oban shaft) and irons I feel are not piercing enough and I’m spinning the ball too much.

Looking for iron shaft recommendation for the TE+’s, I’ll run them +1″ (I’m just over 6’6″ tall), but I’m looking to bring down trajectory more than reduce spin. I will be putting Jumbomax XL tour series which are 123 grams as well,

I might build a Maltby driver as well, but I’m planning on getting fitted for a new shaft before deciding on that one.

Excited to be back on the course, and even more excited to put some new maltby’s in the bag.
