Currently gaming PXG XCor2 with the MMT 70R. Looking at getting TS3.5 with the Pro Series + R. How similar or different are the two shafts? I really like the MMT but want a more budget friendly option without sacrificing performance and from what I hear the Pro Series + shafts are a good performer.
The profile of the Pro Series + R flex is a little firmer than the MMT 70 R. Enough to probably notice a difference. The balance point is actually a little lower on the Pro Series+. We designed the Pro Series + to right on the average for each flex based on the thousands of shafts we have in our database, so we feel they represent each flex designation as they should. The MMT is a very good shaft and is just slightly softer in the overall profile for the R flex.

Thank you. I do have a little wiggle room as far as flex goes. I’m a 145-150 +/- yd 7i. I feel as long as weight is not that big of a difference, a little firmer R wouldn’t negatively affect my performance. I tend to either pull or go left on full iron shots anyway. 2* up lie. The firmer flex would actually have me avoid going too high a launch.
