Thanks to Golfworks and others I’m doing all repairs and builds for my local club!

I have a player who wanted a lighter build. I started him with a Nippon 950 regular steel, and the TS2 model. Initially I made a 6 and 7 iron with no weights at all. SW was around D-0. He played in warmer, then cooler weather. Lie adjustment was 2 degrees upright.
Now the player can’t feel the club head in his swing. Would best practice be to gradually weight with lead tape, then weigh the tape; or I could go with 2 gram weights, then check the impact ?  Thanks all.

You’re right on track with your thinking.

How about shaft weight? What weight shaft was he playing prior to this?
