Looking to order a TS3 7i as my test club, having trouble narrowing down which shaft I should get. Currently using some Cleveland Launcher LP’s with an amazon knockoff graphite shaft(stiff @65g), and I seem to have lost distance and control.

Driver ball speed is around 155-160, typically have a pretty good flight, draw with a miss being a slight hook.

I have a feeling that going from heavy steel shafts to a very light graphite shaft has messed with my swing consistency.

I had picked the following:

TS3 head stock adjustments

True Temper Elevate 95 Onyx Shaft

Golfpride New Decade MCC Grip in Red/Black midsize

I will admit I want a black shaft just for the looks so would prefer a suggestion on that first if there is a better profile to get. Did also like the KBS Max Graphite.

We do not carry the Elevate 95 black onyx, but have the chrome version. It is a good light weight steel shaft that provides a high trajectory. If that is what you are looking for no reason it would not work. Based on what you say your driver ball speed is, you definitely have some speed, so I’m guessing an S flex. The KBS Tour TGI graphite is a good shaft. It plays on the firmer side of each flex. In other words, the 90 S+ is a stiff stiff. The KBS MAX graphite in the S flex is a mid/high trajectory shaft and is more true to flex. It is 85 grams, so consider it light weight. With your speed I just think going too light might not provide the results you want, but that is just a guess. If you are OK with a little heavier and OK with steel, you might look at either the KBS S-Taper Lite in black PVD or the Project X LZ Black. S-Taper light is a mid/high trajectory shaft at 115g in S flex and the Project X LZ Black is a mid trajectory in 120g in the Stiff flex. KBS PGI Graphite would be another black option in graphite that does not play as stiff as the TGI graphite and is available in an 80 gram Stiff and 90 gram Stiff+ flex.

Britt thank you so much for the options! I happen to find that shaft in the clearance page but perhaps it is gone now.

If I did find something in there I would like I can add all my components to the cart and request it be built correct? If so I shouldn’t need to opt for the shaft butt and tip trim since it would already be cut to size during assembly?
