I am a big fan of Ralphs slider wedge design, and currently play M Series+, my 4th set of similar styled Maltby wedges.  I like the versatility of being able to played the pitch/bunker shots squared up, like Ralph teaches and let the slide work, but I can also play it the orthodox way ( you know what  i mean) but I aint Phil Mickelson !

However I am also taken a shine to latest Ping Glide 3.0 wedges with the Eye2 grind,  it has the wide sole but with a ‘narrow hosel transition”  to allow it to be opened up.  The product page has an excellent photo of that.

Does any of the Maltby wedges come closer to that hosel transition design concept?
