Looking for tip trimming charts for all the old True Temper steel wood shafts, TT Lite XL, Dynamic Gold Lite, etc…
I apologize for the delay in responding. What I have found is that on .335 tip steel woods, True Temper stated that the tip should be trimmed 1/2″ on bore thru woods, then in 1/2″ increments for each successive wood (#2 wood would 1″, #3 wood would be 1.5″ and so on). If it’s not a bore thru head, then you would trim nothing from the tip for the driver, and then in 1/2″ increments. That was on the Dynamic Gold .335 woods from 1990. Generally TT would have used the same trimming instructions on all the .335 tip steel wood shafts.

Britt, one more question; is that also true for the TT Lite XL wood shafts? I thought they have a longer parallel tip section.
Thanks again!
Britt, tx for the reply; that’s what I thought, just can’t find my old tip trimming charts from Dynacraft. Appreciate the reply!
