I have to take time once again to praise the MXU Zero Offset design clubs. Saturday, twice I hit my 20* over 240 out of the rough. These are simply the easiest to hit hybrids I have ever played and I go back to the original TM Rescue, which frankly was a 40” putter.
Are there any other Zero Offset hybrid or woods from GW I don’t remember? Any chance we will see a new version with say 16 or 18*?
The MXU Utility Woods were a great performer. We came out with those back in 2004. The effective offset was 0 degrees, but they did have an offset hosel. A lot of sole weight and slightly closed face angle made them a great choice for many players. We don’t currently have anything quite like the MXU’s, but our new KE4 HyWay Utility is getting some pretty good reviews. It is a larger profile hybrid in a 21 deg and an 23 degree. Plays like a 5 wood and 7 wood respectively, only at a shorter playing length, which benefits a lot of players. Might be worth a look. Our KE4 Tour TC Hybrids are more of a traditional hybrid shape and do come in 17 degree, 19, 22 and 25, and are our best selling hybrid series.
