You seem to have a profile database. I like the UST DHI aka iRN R flex shaft, but would like to find something with a bit less torque to test. Steel or graphite. Can you find anything in the profiles that is a close match? Thanks!

Not easy to find a similar profile and weight with less torque in graphite. If the profiles were similar, the the torque was either the same or higher. The Kuro Kage Black 2nd Gen 75g R flex iron has similar zonal frequency numbers and has 3.5 degrees of torque. The new Rapport core Blue R flex irons is 75g and has 3.8 degrees of torque and the profile is just very slightly more firm. In steel, all steel shafts will have less torsional stiffness. If you want something that is really light in steel and has a similar profile, the Nippon Zelos 8 is 82 grams and has a similar profile. One point to note, just because profiles may measure similarly, they will not always “play the same” due to the materials, geometry progression, tip and butt section lengths, etc. They may, but there is no guarantee. In steel, in my experience and opinion, no steel shaft will ever feel like a graphite. You may can find similar playability, but the feel will not be the same due to the way the materials transmit and absorb vibrations at impact.

Britt, if you see this, which flex of Zelos 8 has the frequency profile that’s similar to the UST iRN R? I know the Zelos is said to be very soft by the numbers.
