Looking for information on how to remove the rear weights on the TM Monza Rosa Putter
Not sure if the weight is epoxied in or tape. My suggestion is to use a heat gun, but first use Club Shield from Golf Works: it is a fantastic
product; I use it all the time with either a torch or heat gun. Make sure you apply an ample amount on and around the surrounding area to begin.
As you heat the area, use intervals when applying heat. I use 6 to 10 seconds to apply heat; then wait 15 to 20 seconds before heating again. It will take several heat cycles especially if it epoxied.
I would recommend that you use a heat gun if you don’t have experience using a torch. The heat gun will take a little extra time and be sure
to reapply the heat shield as needed. If is tape, it should come off easily. If it has been epoxied
it will take longer. All you need to do is soften the adhesive or epoxy and try to pry off with a thin blade. You might want to check with the manufacturer
or a pro shop to see how its attached.
Good Luck, TBrandt
