I bought a Project X LZ taper tip to test. Looking into the tip it appears to be folded. Is this part of the design, or is there an issue here?
If it is part of the design, what type of tip weight would I need to add to get the swingweight where I want it?
I have never seen that before. Apologies and I would definitely return it for a replacement. When you talk to customer service, tell them to mark the return to my attention. Going to have a discussion with True Temper on this one.

Looks like a manufacturing defect to me. I would return it and not take any chances.
