Long time Maltby customer…first time on the forum.

Have a friend of a friend who has a partial set of Ping Eye2 + with Paragon LITE TOUCH graphite shafts. He didn’t know what was the gram weight/flex. The clubs are in a different State, so I cannot hit them.

My online searches came up empty. Any intel from you experts would be greatly appreciated.

I was planning on doing my own graphite re-shaft of a set Eye2’s I already have, but if these shafts are worth it…this may be too good of a deal to pass on.

I asked Jim and here is what he told me:

“Found it in the 1999 Paragon catalog. It was a .370” R/S or L/A combo flex. Both shafts were 40” raw length .370” parallel tip size.

The R/S weights 66 grams with 5.0 degrees torque and a .590” butt diameter. The L/A weights 60 grams with 5.0 degrees torque

and a .580” butt diameter.”

Sounds like I’m better off with my original idea of building my own. These specs do not match Ping’s factory hosel specs (.355 taper tip)…and I think is too light for me.

A “good deal” is really just a waste of money if it’s not what works for you.
