I am going to have to respectfully disagree with Reagan on this one. I have been involved with shaft orientation for a long time, basically from it’s beginning, and the facts are that the SST Pureing process is the most accurate way to identify a shafts principle plane of oscillation. Spining and Floing are better than doing nothing, but are nowhere near as accurate as the SST Pure process. No shafts are perfectly straight and perfectly round. If installed randomly, or without identifying the most consistent orientation, consistency and distance will suffer, for all levels of players. Just go to the SST PURE website and watch the videos. I have seen higher handicappers impact points on the face improve significantly with Pured shafts. A tour players improvement is less from a percentage standpoint because their impact point and consistency is already great, but most tour players have Pured shafts in their clubs. One or two yards difference in distance and/or dispersion can make a big difference for a tour player. I could go on but go to the SST Pure Website and look at the data and videos. If our job as club builders is to eliminate every inconsistency in the club that can have a negative effect on performance for a player, any player, then Pureing shafts should be a part of the process.

Thanks. I worked with someone from Golf Works and he got me into a reasonably priced graphite shaft where I can swing adding on the PURing.
