With stronger lofted KE4 Max series, what hybrid would you suggest for replacing the 4 iron? Would you choose a hybrid by club designation or loft degree? Any adjustable lofted hybrids in the future? Thank you.

You could choose a hybrid by design, or the loft, either way. The STh2 is as good a choice as any, as is the KE4 Tour. the STh2 would be the 21 degree and only give you a 2 degree gap between the #5 iron, where the KE4 would be 19 deg., giving you 4 degrees of gap. Just depends on what your need is. I would tend to go more for the 4 deg. GAP than the 2 degree. Playability between the two models are both excellent, so I couldn’t recommend one over the other. You could always just get the MAX #4 iron. Ultra Game Improvement and really easy to hit, in my opinion. You would most likely hit the hybrids a little farther than the #4 iron assuming you would make them slightly longer due to their head weight.

I like the STi2 hybrid. It could possibly be hand picked to 20* I’ve hit this hybrid and the Ke4 tc tour and the STi2 is much better for me.
It’s the sole design of the STi2 that fits me better. It’s sits down and flatter to the ground. The TC has a rounder higher sole that requires a bit more aggressive swing, IMO.
Thanks Champ,
What did you like about the ST over the KE?
