I have a customer who has a Cobra UFO gap wedge. The face has popped out a bit (it does not sit flush in the head) and he was wondering if it is repairable. He is still using the club, but the club just doesn’t look right. Can the insert be heated and reset? I only have a heat gun and was wondering if a blow torch would be needed for this process.

Torch might work, but I would think it needs to be welded. Need mad skills with that bead. Never heard of a cobra UFO wedge.
Guessing it’s like an Alien.

Not familiar with the wedge. Without knowing the materials I couldn’t advise on welding. I would say not as it could warp the surface. Could try heating and epoxy, but gain I am guessing since I have never seen that wedge.
