Perhaps I should stay off the internet. The debate on using collared ferules to prevent breakage of graphite shafts. For years I haven’t been using them with no problems. Collared ferrules may mean also altering the head with a slight countersink at the top of the hosel. Opinions seem to be back and forth on this one. Im thinking it’s a good idea, and if we’re using a premier high price shaft with a truly fast swinger I may consider.
is there a perfect answer on this one.
mostly I’ve been reshafting for senior players. Thanks all,

Bill
