Hey all, I’m trying to do as much research as possible into this…probably to my own detriment. I am planning on purchasing a new set of Maltby irons come the holidays, and I’m just absolutely torn on TS1-IM vs TS4 vs a combo set of the two…I’ve heard Britt say that the playability of each are extremely close, and that a combo set may not really make a difference…but I can’t help but feel like having the TS1-IM in the longer irons (4-6) on your off days would help a touch more when you just can’t seem to find dead center of the face? Am I overthinking this? I’ve watched what videos I could find, read what reviews I’ve been able to find…and I still cannot make up my mind. The TS4 looks call to me, but I can’t scratch the feeling that the TS1-IM’s added forgiveness would be missed if I didn’t at least combo them. For what it’s worth, when I’m not having a good day, my miss is towards the toe, or slightly thin. Also, my AoA is slightly steep. Usually take a dollar bill type divot.
